Randy Schlager
Randy joined the elite team of Creative Music designers at DMX over ten years ago, specializing in international and domestic dance, pop and alternative music programming. He has held a club residency for more than twenty years as a DJ at one of Seattle’s largest, longest running, most successful nightclubs. Randy produces a weekly dance-mix show, POWERMIX, which has aired on KNHC 89.5 FM since 1993, the first and longest running show of its kind.
.Randy represents the Northwest as a Billboard Magazine Reporter and tastemaker, a position he has held for more than seventeen years. Randy has received the award of West Coast DJ of the year by DMA Magazine, and the Seattle Weekly, and has been interviewed by the Austin American-Statesman, Chicago Tribune, Billboard, FMQB, and other media regarding his work with DMX.
.Randy has designed and implemented the “Sound” for Abercrombie & Fitch, Equinox, Nine West, Anne Klein, Henri Bendel, along with developing the DMX ‘dance’, ‘urban’, and ‘Glow’ concepts. Randy enjoys mentoring future talent and he devotes his free time to teaching youth the various aspects of DJ’ing and Creative Music Consulting.
