Louis Inglese
When most 12 year olds in 2005 were caught up in the likes of hip hop and pop music, Louis Inglese was streaming BBC Radio 1 from his desktop computer and dragging his parents around to buy him underground dance compilations. He began taking his cues from the likes of Axwell, Erick Morillo, and Steve Angello. Following these artists he found major inspiration in the music they were making as well as playing. Fast forward a few years, he picked up a pair of turntables himself and his journey began.
Since hitting the NYC scene in 2011 he has played a variety of venues including Pacha, the W Downtown, WIP , Greenhouse, and Revel to name a few and has been included on lineups with names such as Oscar G and Chus and Ceballos. Naming Dom Tufaro as the guy who “showed him how to play in a club” the two linked up in the studio and released “Brand New Life” featuring Tamara Wallace earlier this year. Inglese enjoys many styles of dance music and can be found playing anything from deep tech to uplifting progressive and everything in between. The future looks bright for this young 22 year old who will focus heavily on developing his production ability in the coming year.
