Born in France to African immigrants, we were raised in the hood, in the suburbs of Paris. Our background has given us a unique perspective of the city due to the diversity of the people we have mixed with and has proved to be a big inspiration. The BLKKOUT sound definitely reflects the cosmopolitan feel of the city, particularly the strong influences from our African roots and the vibes we’ve grown up with in the hood.
