Eddie Rodriguez was born and raised in the Bronx.  He started out as a DJ in NYC known as DJ Eddie Rod with the ability to play House, Hip Hop, R&B, Classics & Latin all in one night. Something that a lot DJ’S still lack today.  He is one of NYC foremost S.U.R.E. Record Pool DJ’s as well as VP of S.U.R.E. Record Pool.

Eddie previously worked promotions for Priority Records, Luke Records, International Bad Boyz Records, Atlantic Records, Fever Records, Mic Mac Records, LIL Joe Records, Warner Music, Universal Records & Slip & Slide Records. Eddie has made a name for himself for his ability to get records played on National radio stations across the United States.  Some of the Artist’s that Eddie has worked to radio include 2 Live Crew, Luther Campbell, H Town, Ice Cube, Master P, Snoop Dog, Dr. Dre, Tupac Shakur, Jaheim, Janet Jackson, OutKast & Domenic Marte to name a few.

Using his knowledge, he decided to venture out on his own and open Ed Rod Entertainment. The company is a Music Market Research company that caters to recording Artist, DJ’s & Producers in order to enhance their presence on Radio, Retail, Clubs & on the Streets.  Ed Rod Entertainment is also a Management & Artist development company for Recording Artists, Producers & Disc Jockeys. More recently, Eddie Rodriguez decided to branch out into the Latin market in order to expand his knowledge and help breaking Latin Artists promote & market themselves in areas where record companies are lacking creativity, presence, marketing, promotions & radio. He does this by using tried and true methods and a lot of “thinking outside the box.”
