Jes has been an innovator for the Midwest dance scene for over 20 years. From humble beginnings in Rockford, (CHICAGO) Illinois in 1989, he quickly catapulted his career by djing nationwide and appearing on many radio stations both for underground radio and commercial radio. Nightclubs, festivals, and raves all became accustomed to his signature sound of groovin’ house and banging techno throughout the 90’s. During this time he opened one of the largest , longest and most well known record stores, The Groove Shop.

The Groove Shop became a legend for being “the spot” for djs and producers to drop their mixtapes, showcase their latest releases, and network with industry ENDORSED BY SHURE RECORD NEEDLES which can be seen in URB , MIXER , DJ TIMES Magazine Jes has countless releases on his own and with the likes of Frankie Bones,ESP Woody McBride, Paul Anthony ,Angel ALAINS , Josh Da Funky 1, MAZI, Alex Peace, REESE URBAN, Mystic Bill, J.
